http://www.aidinmotion.com Lola Lopez launched Aid in Motion following the 2008 post election violence which tore through rural communities and displaced hundreds of thousands of people in Kenya. Wanting to do something for those living in affected regions, she started a small clothing drive in her community. That small clothing drive rapidly turned into 70,000 kg of clothing. This fueled her passion to see an end to needless poverty and brought her to the realisation that the GCC had both the resources and desire to give but no channels through which to do so. Seeing an opportunity to meet this need and the needs of those less fortunate, Lola focused her energy on founding AIM. She has left a successful career history in Aviation and Formula One Engineering, and now uses these skills to head up the logistics, fund raising and marketing of Aid in Motion Cigdem personally meet with Lola in her residence in Dubai UAE (December 2008 ) and realy impressed how the residence can be piled up with the clothes aimed to be sent to poor kids at Kenya .
